Requirements & Procedures
Please enclose a processing fee of $250 with your application. This fee is non-refundable if the candidate is not admitted into the program.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the Project Management Graduate Program is competitive. To meet the requirements, candidates must normally have the following.
- Employer sponsorship (may be waived)
- Organization Chart showing your position
- Evaluation from three people (use form provided)
- An undergraduate degree with an acceptable record from a regionally accredited college or university
- Some knowledge of elementary accounting and calculus (tutorial available)
Application Procedure
Applications are reviewed upon completion of all required steps, and admission decisions are made as soon thereafter as practicable. Candidates are notified shortly after the admission decision has been made. Early submission of all application material is strongly recommended.
The following must be submitted before an applicant's file will be reviewed by the admissions committee:
- A pre-application interview with the program director and members of the admissions committee (may be done by telephone).
- Completed application forms which include personal, employment and education information.
- A sponsorship form from your company (if not waived).
- Three confidential evaluations, utilizing the provided forms, sent directly to the Executive Programs Office at UT Dallas.
- One official academic transcript from every post-secondary institution which the applicant has attended. All transcripts must be sent directly from the institution and directed to the Executive Programs Office at UT Dallas. A form to request such transcripts is available.
- The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is not required. Test results will, however, be considered if forwarded to The Executive Programs Office.
- International students please note that if English is not your native language, a score of 550 on the TOEFL paper test or 215 on the TOEFL computer based test is required.
